It's a special relationship being mother and daughter. Not a day goes by that I am overcome with the sheer amazement of being the mother of a daughter. She makes me so proud, I'm stunned by her perfection, her innate beauty and grace, her fearlessness to push forth into what inspires her. I'm amazed at the lengths she'll go to to get what she wants. She can make me insanely crazy, I make her equally crazy, maybe even more so. We love each other fiercely, to be sure. She's a force to be reckoned with, but then again so was my Mom.
I often say my daughter is my husband as a child, in girl form, but I wonder how much like her I was when I was small....
